Wide Web Technology's Approach to PPC Management

It is impossible to generalize how every agency approaches PPC. The following nine beliefs are the cornerstones of our PPC program:

#1. You Own the Account

Your Pay-Per-Click account is a valuable asset. Your website was built and optimized at your expense; therefore, you should own it, regardless of who your PPC management agency is.
#2. Optimize for Conversions

Leads and sales are what you care about, not clicks, impressions, click-through-rate (CTR), or any other arbitrary metric that is thrown around. We only optimize for the KPIs that are important to your company and that it understands.

#3. A report in Natural Language

Unlike other PPC agencies, we will not bombard you with jargon. For your executive management team to understand and appreciate the value of our reports, we straightforwardly present them. We only report on the essential indicators to your company, and we don’t bore you with technical jargon. If you don’t want to geek out, we’re glad to discuss business with you. Monthly reports outlining the most recent month’s performance are sent to customers, and we always follow up with a phone call to examine the information.

#4. No Silos

Wide Web Technology’s PPC campaign was first developed to assist the work of our entire digital marketing department. This included content marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and search engine optimization (SEO) (SEO). Consequently, we strive to incorporate our PPC approach into a broader overall digital marketing plan to uncover new possibilities and efficiencies that would have otherwise gone unnoticed.

#5. No Long-Term Contracts

Our pay-per-click (PPC) contracts are month-to-month, and we need 30 days’ notice to terminate them. The best approach to retain a customer is to provide them with exceptional service rather than locking them into a long-term contract.

#6. No Autopilot

According to the Wide Web Technology of the expenditure, we manually manage campaigns daily and weekly, respectively. This means that our PPC managers constantly keep an eye on the account’s performance and can make changes as soon as possible.

#7. Dedicated Account Manager

A dedicated point of contact is assigned to each client, who provides weekly updates, responds to any questions in less than 24 hours, participates in weekly or monthly calls, and answers questions whenever they arise. Our account managers will be posting updates for customers on our project management platform, Basecamp, regularly as well.
#8. Have The Best People
Finally, PPC management is a service, and individuals deliver services. While we utilize technology to monitor and adjust campaigns, the people in charge of the accounts are the driving force behind the gains in performance. To attract and keep the most skilled individuals possible, we make significant investments in everything from account management to PPC experts, graphic designers, and web developers. Do you still not trust us?

#9. Set a New High Score

When Wide Web Technology takes over any new PPC accounts, we aim to establish a new record for the highest possible score in the account. While keeping performance up to date is essential, it is not what motivates us. We are driven by the desire to demonstrate how much we can improve when allowed to do so. It is not unusual for us to see a rise in 50-90 percent (while simultaneously decreasing expenses) in the first few months of a campaign.

Process of Setup an Account

When we first meet with new clients, they always inquire how we intend to onboard them into our system. So here’s how we go about it:

Wide Web Technology takes pride in having a method that has been tested and proved to provide consistent outcomes. The first step in onboarding any new PPC account is to ask the client to complete questionnaires that include information about PPC and their target customers and their competitors. We’re more than just PPC managers; we’re marketing strategists that take a comprehensive approach to solving any marketing problem.
Whenever we take over a PPC account, our first step is to analyze and evaluate the existing state of the account we are taking over. Based on years of experience assessing PPC accounts, Wide Web Technology has developed a customized PPC account audit methodology and checklist. This audit assists us in identifying low-hanging fruit possibilities as well as possible red flags in the organization’s operations. We break down the current account to get as much insight as possible from the previous performance, and then we benchmark all key performance indicators (KPIs) to establish a baseline.
It’s critical to get things started on the proper foot straight away. Every new customer receives a kickoff meeting with the whole team, during which we go over our schedule and take them through each stage of the installation process. We also utilize this meeting for discovery, during which we go through the questionnaires that have been completed.
If we’re conducting a search campaign, the following step is to do keyword research for the campaign (based on any missing opportunities found in the audit). We break down our proposed new keyword list into groups and submit them to the client for approval before entering the keywords into the client’s account.

This phase entails optimizing all of the different account settings, including but not limited to:

  • Campaign setup
  •  Ad Group setup
  • Ad Copywriting & Testing setup
  • Match Type setup
  • Extensions setup
  • Bids setup
  • Goal Tracking setup
  • Call Tracking
  • Ad Design (for display and remarketing campaigns)
  • Negative Keywords setup
  • Audience/In Market Targeting setup
Writing pay-per-click (PPC) advertisements are a delicate mix of art and science. The advertisements must be compelling while still being educational and straightforward, and they must do it within stringent character restrictions. On the other hand, Wide Web Technology has a team of experienced copywriters who have been writing PPC advertisements for years. We also test ad copy regularly to see what works best, so we have a wealth of information to draw inspiration.
Whereas if we are running display campaigns, Wide Web Technology will design multiple flights of advertisements in the recommended ad size dimensions of the chosen ad platform. Our promotions are created to be appealing and eye-catching while yet reflecting the brands of our clients.
The advertisements are just one part of the equation. The advertisements must direct visitors to a landing page that will convert them to be considered a successful PPC campaign. Wide Web Technology will assist you with writing, designing, and developing landing pages that follow best practices for your campaigns. After years of experimenting with various landing page layouts, we’ve developed our own set of landing page best practices.
Depending on the client’s needs, Wide Web Technology will produce a customized dashboard report. Starting with the importation of all previous data, Wide Web Technology then updates our main dashboard report once a month and our other reports. The World Wide Web Technology reports on metrics straightforwardly. With our reporting, we take pleasure in using terminology familiar to your company (leads, sales), and we never attempt to deceive you with bogus numbers. Every month, we share and discuss reports with our customers and partners. You will always have full access to your account, and you can log in at any moment to check your stats if you so want.
To keep our customers informed about the progress of their PPC ads, we must communicate with them regularly. Consequently, we schedule calls or meetings once a week (or once a month) to provide status updates. The size of the campaign and the budget will decide if a weekly check-in is needed or whether a monthly check-in is sufficient for the movement.
PPC management services are reasonably priced at Wide Web Technology, and the company’s pricing structure is simple. Our fees consist of a one-time account setup (or restructure) fee that varies based on the current state of the account we’re onboarding, followed by a monthly administration fee, which is calculated as a percentage of total expenditure.
